Visiting the Isle of Skye?

Stay with us at Skye Marine on our working croft on the shores of Loch Greshornish, Isle of Skye, where are warm highland welcome awaits you.

Our cosy 3-bedroom self catering static caravan sleeps 4 and is situated on our working croft, with sheep, highland cows and donkeys, as well as uninterrupted views across Loch Greshornish and direct access to the shore.

The views are spectacular, as are the sunsets and the northern lights in winter. You’ll hopefully get to see a wide range of wildlife too, maybe even catching sight of the resident otters.

Weather permitting you can also take to the water on our open Canadian canoe (free of charge) or take one of our wildlife or fishing trips out into Loch Snizort at a discounted price where, depending on the time of year, we get to see common and grey seals, dolphins, porpoise, Minke whales, Orca, puffins and much, much more.

Our caravan has one double and two single bedrooms, a sitting and dining area, a kitchenette, shower room and separate toilet. There is also a log burning stove. All in all, it’s a warm and comfortable place to stay when visiting Skye and is ideally located as a base for exploring the whole island.

We also offer the opportunity of learning or improving traditional skills such as knitting and crochet via Yasmin’s business 'Island at the Edge', and there’s also a wee shop offering wool/yarn from our sheep as well as crafts, gifts and knitwear.

We are located approximately 14 miles from Portree and 8 miles from Dunvegan Castle.

You will be within walking distance of the village of Edinbane where there are pubs and restaurants, a pottery and other craft outlets.

The newly refurbished Edinbane Lodge is also now open for fine dining.

Cost: £120 per night, minimum 2 nights.
